Daxin class (training ship)

Public description

The Daxin class training ship supports officer, cadet and specialist training for the PLAN. Dedicated training ships reduce pressure on combatants and provide a controlled platform for seamanship, navigation and operational instruction. The class is a support asset, but it contributes to force generation by helping sustain skilled crews for a rapidly expanding fleet.
