The Fusu Type 908 Nancang class is a replenishment ship that added useful long-range support capacity to the PLAN. It contributes fuel and stores support for surface groups and out-of-area deployments. Although not as numerous or modern as the Type 903 family, it fits the same broader requirement for sustaining blue-water operations.
