Public description
Khalid Bin Walid Class Frigate is Bangladesh's modified Ulsan-derived guided-missile frigate. The Ulsan Class (Modified) frigates are modern vessels in service with the Bangladesh Navy since 2001. They are equipped for anti-surface and anti-air operations. Operationally, the class is oriented toward fleet air defence, anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, embarked helicopter operations, as well as situational awareness and combat direction.
