Adhafer Class Corvette is Algeria's Chinese-built C28A heavy corvette class. The Adhafer-class corvette is a type of stealth corvette for the Algerian Navy, built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation. Three ships were commissioned between 2015 and 2016, with an option for three more. Operationally, the class is oriented toward local air defence, anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, embarked helicopter operations, as well as situational awareness and combat direction.
