Mourad Rais Class Frigate is Algeria's modernized Koni II frigate class. Osa-M is kept only as removed historical equipment after refit reporting. The Mourad Rais Class consists of three guided missile frigates in service with the Algerian National Navy. Operationally, the class is oriented toward anti-submarine warfare, mine warfare, as well as situational awareness and combat direction.
