LHD Yushen Class (Type 075)

The Yushen Type 075 class is the PLAN's large-deck amphibious assault ship programme and greatly expands helicopter-borne amphibious lift. A full-length flight deck, hangar, well-deck support and command spaces make it suitable for amphibious assault, vertical envelopment, evacuation and disaster-relief tasks. It is not a fixed-wing carrier, but it gives China a much stronger LHD aviation and expeditionary command platform.
