Public description
Tripartite Class Minehunter represents Bulgaria's Tripartite minehunter capability and planned Belgian/Dutch transfers, described around minehunting sonar, mine-disposal vehicles, minesweeping support, diesel propulsion and surface-search radar rather than ship-specific transferred payloads. The Tripartite class is a series of minehunters developed through a collaboration between Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. A total of 35 ships were constructed in the 1980s-1990s. Operationally, the class is oriented toward anti-submarine warfare, mine countermeasures, as well as situational awareness and combat direction.
