The Jacques Chevallier class is the French BRF/FLOTLOG replenishment programme replacing older Durance/BCR support ships. These ships sustain carrier and expeditionary task groups with fuel, stores, ammunition and aviation support, allowing France to operate high-end groups at distance and for longer periods.
